Özlem İdilsu

Özlem Idilsu is an international dancer and instructor based in Istanbul.
She values the traditional and the classic as well as she enjoys the modern; and thus she is specialised in Oriental Dance (a.k.a Belly Dance) and Turkish Romany (Gypsy 9/8) and trained in several other disciplines such as Turkish Folk Dances, Contemporary Dance and Ballet.
Özlem’s studies, experiences and both cultural and technical background make her a rare source of insightful knowledge about the cultural and historical side of oriental dance. She is versed in both Turkish and Arabic styles, bringing out her own character mingling with what she has been taught, without disturbing the originality of Oriental Dance. She performs and teaches Traditonal and Modern Oryantal Dans (aka Belly Dance), sword, candle tray and şamdan (shamadan) balance, floor dance, Turkish Romani( gypsy 9/8), Classic Chiftetelli, finger cymbals, veil and Isis wings.
She speaks & teaches fluently in English and Swedish.

Aytül Hasaltun

Turkish Gyspy Style Teacher & Careographer
Aytul Hasaltun is an accomplished dancer and instructor in several disciplines. She has been trained in Turkish Folk dances and Contemporary dance. She has produced several Contemporary dance productions, Nigar- the lastest of which has been performed in several countries including Egypt and Armenia.
She, together with her husband Kemal, established Dance Bulusma, one of the weightiest performing arts ateliers in Istanbul, in 2000 where Aytul regularly teaches folk dances and contemporary dance classes. She has a special way of teaching technique through improvisation, and improvisation through technique. She teaches Turkish Roman, Balkanian Roman, Chiftetelli and Contemporary Dance Technique.
